75 years ago today, was released the first printing of "The Hobbit"

So,
one year ago had the chance to propose ,to the publisher who manage the Toliken books in France ,to do a new serie of illustrations inspired by the chapters of the book for the new edition of the Tolkien's novel...

the was some interest about

but at last for some reasons the project never had the choice to been published

BUT

I've decided anyway to do this illustrations in the free time ,for fun
20 illustrations inspired by the chapters of the book , make in monochromatic way, on my classic-loved "carta paglia"

amazing stuff, i have to ask what kind of paper is it you use, i've been trying to work it out for a while now

thanks for adding the info, i can't seem to find anywhere that sells this "carta paglia" it translates as straw or rice paper and nowhere seems to sell it, got any links?
