i really like your redition of theguy. your own, personal style comes trhrough, what witht he thick, angular lines. there's also a fantastic sense of movment, what with the lines in the background amplifying the sense of foward momentum created by the lean of his body and the way in which his coat drags out behinde him. the tie illustraits this perticuolarly well.
the use of carbord is also really effective. indeed, there's something about the grainy texture of it that reflects the 'film noir' nature of the graphic novles.
